Bad credit & low scores
A low score isn’t a wall. What you earn now counts for more than what happened three years ago.
Getting approved
One application, one person following it through, and a straight answer about where you stand — usually the same business day.
You’re not a credit score to him
Getting turned down somewhere else doesn’t mean much here. These are the situations David works with constantly.
A low score isn’t a wall. What you earn now counts for more than what happened three years ago.
First car, first job, new to the country — everyone starts somewhere, and the payments build your file.
A repo on your record is a common story. It doesn’t end the conversation.
Chapter 7 or 13, discharged or still in plan. Bring your paperwork and he’ll work with it.
1099, gig work, stylists, contractors, drivers. Bank statements work as proof of income.
SSI, SSDI, disability, pension and VA income all count. Bring the award letter.
How the money works
There is no rate sheet to publish, because the number that matters is the one on your deal — and that depends on the car, your income and what you can put down.
Bring him those three things and he will structure it in front of you: the down payment, the monthly payment and the term, all together, before you sign anything. If the numbers don’t work on the car you wanted, he’ll say so and find one that does.
Terms are set on approval, based on your application, your income and the vehicle. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit or a commitment to lend.
Before he comes out
The application
Your application goes through Bob Rohrman Auto Group’s lender panel — the same banks and finance companies behind every franchise store in the group. It is encrypted, and it lands with David, not with a dozen lead resellers.
Opens the secure application in a new tab. Submitting an application authorises a credit report to be obtained. Financing is subject to approval and verification of income, residence and references; not all applicants will qualify.
Leave your number and David will call you. No application, no credit pull — just a conversation about what you can realistically get into.
Financing questions
The callback form on this page is an enquiry — it doesn’t pull your credit. The full application does involve a credit report, with your written permission, and you are told before that happens.
It varies by deal — your credit, the term, the down payment and the vehicle all move it, and different lenders on Rohrman’s panel come back with different numbers. Every figure is disclosed in writing on your contract before you sign. Ask David to walk through it line by line and he will.
Directly to whichever of Bob Rohrman’s lenders approves the deal, on a schedule set when you sign. Most people set up automatic payment from an account or card.
Almost never on the loans David places. Pay it off early and you save on interest — and he would rather you came back for the next car.
Usually not. If your income is thin or brand new, a co-signer can get you a better vehicle or a smaller down payment — but most people sign alone.
Call before the due date, every time. There is almost always something that can be worked out if you communicate. Silence is what causes problems.
Sometimes it’s faster to just call. He answers his own phone.
